
API 510 and its partner API 570 are the most common ICPs. Vessels come in many forms and sizes and API 510 provides general coverage of unfired vessels (not boilers or fired heat-exchangers). It can be used for not only refinery hydrocarbon and process vessels but (with interpretation) vessels from other process industries also.
