Abstractlilateral anterior inferior cerebellar artery (AICA) territory infarcts are rare. Their ocurrence usually signifies severe intracranial lertebrobasilar disease. Unlike head commuted tomography, magnetic resonance (MR) imaging reveals these infarcts clearly and MR angiography allows the intracranial vasculature to be defined noninvasively. We now report a patient with bilateral AICA territory infarcts.
