
ABSTRACT Callitrichid primates Saguinus bicolor and Saguinus midas from urban accidents in peri‐urban forests from Central Amazon were necropsied. Analysis of thoracic and peritoneal fluid showed that 56.5% (13/23) of S. bicolor individuals and 13.3% (4/30) of S. midas individuals had the presence of Dipetalonema and Mansonella ( Tetrapetalonema ) microfilariae.
