AbstractAn anatomical study of abattoir acquired bovine hearts with ventricular septal defects was carried out. Hearts were fixed and stored in 4% formalin solution with heart dissection used for gross anatomical location of the conduction system of the ventricles. The distribution of the conduction system in a number of selected ventricular septal defects is described and compared with the normal.
