SummaryThe Internet is a network of computers that allows rapid transfer of information throughout the world. The number of medical, and particularly anaesthetic, resources is rapidly increasing. This article briefly describes the Internet and its features which may be of interest to anaesthetists and intensivists in the United Kingdom, together with some of the tools for working with them.
