First revision 2005–09. The EPPO protocol was revised on 2018–09, on the basis of the IPPC diagnostic protocol adopted in 2010 (Appendix 1 to ISPM 27). Although this Standard differs in terms of format and provides a new option for molecular tests, it is consistent with the content of the IPPC Standard. It also incorporates literature published since the adoption of the IPPC protocol.
