AbstractThe European Federation of Neurological Associations (EFNA) brings together European umbrella organizations of pan‐European neurological patient advocacy groups (www.efna.net) and strives to improve the quality of life of people living with neurological conditions and to work towards relieving the immense social and economic burden on patients, carers and society in general. This article provides an overview of EFNA's activities and achievements over the past two decades, the evolution of patient advocacy during those years, and the increased role and impact of the European patient voice in the neurological arena.
