Fuzzy logic is becoming recognized as an effective method for writing algorithms for control systems. As with everything else, the robustness of fuzzy lies in the system designer's ability to fully define the system and write effective "rules" for how the system should operate. What is new about fuzzy is that it allows parameters to fall within certain ranges and based upon where input data falls within these ranges, a definite result can be generated.
| citations This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
