The Design and Realization of an Advanced Urban Traffic Surveillance and Management System

Abstract

With the continual going deeply into reform and opening, the development of economy and the advance of people living standard, the amount of mobile vehicles increasing, it results in deterioration of the traffic. In order to reconcile urban transportation, this paper presents a design and realization of an advanced urban traffic surveillance and management system. It is an urban traffic surveillance command platform integrated by transportation information collecting, information processing, information synchronizing, information releasing, traffic controlling and managing. Aiming at the characteristic of domestic mingled transportation, the system provides the urban traffic surveillance command system of LCHA to the traffic management department. With this system, we can take good and efficient use of various traffic resources to construct the urban harmonic transportation
