In designing high-speed digital mobile communication systems, we must predict the multi-path propagation characteristics more accurately. Delay spread is an effective indicator that makes it easy to evaluate multi-path propagation. In this paper, we propose a novel delay profile model that can predict the delay spread accurately due to its inclusion of the path existence probability and its consideration of city structure characteristics such as building height etc. We use the proposed model to predict the delay spread in typical areas and clarify its validity by field measurements.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 3 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
