In this paper, the low-temperature properties of some commercial Pb-free solders developed for electronics and aerospace applications were investigated for possible use as superconducting solder materials. Their properties are also compared with in-house Sn 35In 50Bi 15 solders being developed to replace the widely used Pb-Bi alloys. Of these materials, the Sn 35In 50Bi 15 solder is the best potential candidate for superconducting applications.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 9 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% | |
