A low cross-polarization center-fed microstrip reflectarray antenna is presented. The cross-polarization elimination is accomplished by a particular arrangement of the elements. Using this technique, a center-fed reflectarray antenna has been designed at center frequency of 11.7 GHz. Measurement results are compared with that of a previously reported reflectarray antenna. Both antennas are exactly the same in every aspect except for the elements arrangement. Measurement results show 1 to 12 dB reduction in cross-polarization level and a notable enhancement in the new antenna's overall gain.
