More and more companies are now beginning to recognize the benefits of systematically managing their processes. It will require specially designed electronic repositories to help define, track and share knowledge about business processes. This paper presents a knowledge-based system for managing the processes of a company. The architecture of the system is introduced first. Then, the overall process database and the database for detail implementation processes are designed to streamline the abstract processes with the specific ones. The databases integrated with applications help companies understand, track and improve their business process that matter. An example is illustrated to demonstrate the usefulness of the system.
