This study proposes a procedural approach for 3D modeling of mosques. Presented method initially utilizes the user specified high level parameters to determine the low level parameters of mosque elements in a hierarchical manner and finally generates the 3D model. User can also intervene the final design by modifying the low level parameters in case of necessity. In this work, we present a system for modeling mosques with only little user intervention and we aim to extend the system to allow for modeling other cultural elements.
