This work proposes a new multi-carrier transmission scheme through the use of a fractionally modulation before data transmission. The idea is to exploit the correlation between the OFDM symbols at neighboring sub-carriers by means of an interpolation process. We propose a new OFDM scheme that sends interpolated data vectors and reconstructs at the receiver's side the original data vectors for all sub-carriers. We have evaluated the system's performance under realistic channel conditions using two CDMA test channels. Computer simulations show that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional OFDM in terms of BER as well as in terms of noise immunity.
