Comparative study of MFDFA technique for isometric and isotonic muscle contraction

Abstract

This paper discusses the results obtained from MFDFA technique applied to isometric and isotonic muscle contraction under different loading condition using Electromyography. An attempt has been made towards quantization of muscle contraction with load. The research includes development of dedicated system for recording, monitoring and analysis of EMG signal with non-linear dynamics and frequency domain techniques as well. The signal is acquired through surface electrodes using an EMG acquisition circuit with differential amplification technology. The data is collected through the winsound port using Matlab®.
