</script>Recently, the investigation of extremely-low-frequency magnetic field has drawn a lot of researchers attention. The magnetic field of overhead power transmission lines has been studied extensively. In the present paper with the aid of Ansys 7.0 software current and loss in the shield of cable are computed for single phase and three phase cables.
