Current motion analysis technologies offer a variety of methods for recording movements of interest. Each method offers unique advantages for achieving these goals. Often times, however, one method is not ideally suited for a task. This paper explores some of the relevant technologies and proposes a hybrid motion analysis system as a means of characterizing motion in limited space while improving model detail.
