In this paper, a multi-level binary singular value decomposition (MBSVD) algorithm used for reverberation suppression has been proposed. The binary singular value decomposition (BSVD) algorithm can separate the target echo from the strong reverberation. However, only one time decomposition may not get the satisfied signal-to-reverberation ratio (SRR) for match filter. After solving the decomposition path and the number of decomposition level choosing problems, this paper propose the MBSVD as an extended of BSVD. The feasibility of this algorithm for BPSK signal reverberation suppression is proved by experiment data processing result. Lake trial results indicate that the method can efficiently improves the SRR and further more improves the detection performance of target echo.
