Cascadable Lossy Passive Biquad Bandstop Filter

Abstract

A lossy passive biquad bandstop filter is proposed as a building block for higher-order bandstop filters needing both large stopband attenuation and excellent selectivity. Characteristic equations for cascaded absorptive filters, an example, and data useful for design are provided.
