Fuzzy PID control in the process control

Abstract

This paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of traditional PID control and fuzzy control technology, and discusses the excellent characteristics of fuzzy PID control and the reasons which are suitable for applying in industrial process, The paper further presents the design method and realization process of PID parameters of self-tuning fuzzy controller. Finally the application example in industrial process is given. The results show that using fuzzy PID control technology in industrial process control has better dynamic characteristics, an ideal steady quality and strong anti-jamming ability, maintaining the good adaptability and robustness.
