On-line Multimedia Courseware Authoring System

Abstract

The content of the e-learning courseware available is mostly presented on Web pages with texts and pictures rather on the copious content of interactive multimedia. However, an on-line multimedia courseware authoring software corresponded to SCORM standard is rare. We have thus developed an on-line multimedia courseware authoring system. With this, creators can not only integrate and author multimedia data of all sorts through drag-and-drop into desired interactive scenario courseware, but also can quickly and easily reuse the completed courseware. Apart from these, this system is developed conforming to the SCORM standard. The completed courseware can be applied on the learning management platform that is corresponding to the SCORM standard. Online authoring is another feature of our system. Courseware authoring can be done merely through the browser without setting up the system on the client.
