Large-volume sky surveys have accessed the Universe's vast temporal and spatial expanse via a remarkable set of measurements, and many more are sure to follow. To make new predictions for these cosmological observations and to properly interpret them, large-scale numerical simulation and modeling has become an essential tool. Here, the authors discuss Hardware/Hybrid Accelerated Cosmology Code (HACC), an extreme-scale N-body cosmology code and its associated analysis framework, focusing on the complexity of the analysis workflow, which is as important as running the underlying simulation.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
