Abstract

The Consumer Electronics Show allows us to appraise the gifts technology has given us over the past year and prepare for a new season of innovation. The Web extra at https://youtu.be/iu5p7ToMH6c is an audio recording of author David Alan Grier expanding on his Errant Hashtag column, in which he talks about how the most successful consumer goods are those that have been able to build new markets and organize those markets' customers.
