Actually, taking into account the data we have, this project is the first one, in Latin America, in this government area: a police force. This work reports that, provincial police, in Province of Chubut - Argentina, is implanting a Web-based system to help and to improve, among other things, the openness with which police tasks are handled. This paper contains a general introduction to problems, considerations about e-Government and e-Transparency, a general description of project structure, the project general architectural scheme, a software application overview, a mention of critical aspects for a successful implantation and use, the project expected benefits and future works and, finally, the paper references. This paper shows preliminary results of interaction of four interrelated factors: Internet use oriented to increase "police transparency", citizen possibility of monitoring police activities, police stations quality certification and, mainly, provincial top officers search of trust in government.
