S1000D Based Standardized Technical Information Management for High-Speed Trains

Abstract

Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) can significantly decrease the life-cycle cost of complicated equipment, improve the efficiency and precision of technical information management, and promote internationalization through imposing product standards. This paper studied EMU IETM establishment method under S1000D. Combined with the practical operation and maintenance situation of high-speed trains in china, we designed a general framework with major functions to build an EMU technical information platform. Put research emphasis on maintenance requirement, we proposed an cross-organizational technical information collaboration workflow, and an business integration model for the platform and other railway productive systems.
