
This paper provide a physically-Based framework for simulating the ground effect phenomena concerning helicopter hover between objects and the surrounding air. A simplified visual flow model including copters position and aircraft shape was introduced between the helicopter rotors and the ground. By using particle system to simulate the ground effect model, in comprehensive consideration of the authenticity of the visual simulation and the simulation performance, and other factors, we have successfully improved reality and enhanced immersion of the aircraft virtual simulation.
