An improved design of SVPWM system

Abstract

Aiming at the low utilization rate of SPWM voltage, numerous harmonics, and complex structure of general space voltage vector SVPWM(space vector pulse width modulation), an improved SVPWM system is designed in this paper. In our design, two orthogonal sinusoidal input voltage U x and U y are processed with simple addition and subtraction, as well as logic operations to determine the sector of the synthetic vector, and the action times of basal synthetic vector in this sector can be gotten by looking up a table. By means of the MATLAB / simulink platform, the functions of each module are achieved, and SVPWM simulation is completed. Simulation results have shown that system design is correct and response is fast.
