This paper introduces a new type of thermal cycler (DNA amplifier). A 3-water-bath device is used. The aim is to replicate particular DNA sequences. The temperature of tubes must be changed accurately and at just the right time. Intelligent control and operation are adopted, and the temperature control is highly accurate. Fuzzy PID control is used.
