A new concept of watermarking system for IC design IP protection is presented and its advantages against traditional constraint-based watermarking techniques are proposed. Differences and traits of various kinds of watermarking approaches and the design levels in which they are implemented are analyzed. The third part organization needed in a watermarking system is introduced and its main functions are listed. Possible attacks against the watermarking system are discussed. Using the proposed watermarking technique, both the robustness and the easy-detection of the watermark can be guaranteed.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 2 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
