Study of cascaded H-Bridge multilevel inverter

Abstract

In this paper cascaded h-Bridge multilevel inverter with SPWM technique is presented. Multilevel inverter have high power application & low harmonics due to these applications it is used widely in the area of control and energy distribution. This paper includes performance of 3-Level, 5-Level & 7-Level cascaded H-Bridge multilevel inverter with respect to number of switches, total harmonic distortion, waveform pattern, harmonic spectrum, output voltage, voltage stress across the switch & input DC voltage with the help of simulation by using MTLAB/SIMULINK and implementation of Five level cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter.
