The paper presents the design of a VLSI fuzzy processor which is capable of performing fuzzy inferences. Its main features are: parallel processing of several fuzzy rules; a pre-computation phase of the degree of positive truth of the antecedents, processing of the only active rules; optimized representation of membership functions. The processing speed is up to 2.5 MFLIPS, with a clock frequency of 60 Mhz 256 rules, 8 input variables, either crisp or fuzzy, 1 Consequent and an 8-bit resolution.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 3 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
