Scattering Parameters of Planar Strips

Abstract

The paper is focused on a calculation of the scattering parameters of the planar strips. The scattering parameters are defined. The primary parameters calculations of the planar strips are described in the first part. The influence of frequencies is included in the calculation. The planar strips are mathematic described by the system of differential equations. The test samples are created for comparison with the mathematic model of the planar strips. The test samples are measured by a network analyzer ANRITSU MS4622B. The calculation of the scattering parameters and the comparison with the measured values are showed in the last part of the paper.
