An analytical model for a rapid estimation of the distribution of the electromagnetic field in the working volume of a reverberation chamber (RC) with a rectangular enclosure is presented. The designed algorithm and software implementation of this model are described and an analysis of the non-uniform distribution of the E-field in the working volume of the RC with dimensions of 2.4×0.9×1.8 m3 is performed. The analysis of the obtained results in the form of frequency dependences of the standard deviation of the components of the E-field strength is performed in accordance with IEC 61000-4-21.
