Abstract

From the perspective of systems engineering, this paper analyzes the composition, structure, functions and characteristics of the tourism system and presents that the tourism system is a complex one which consists of the tourism system, tourist service facilities system, ecological system and tourism administrator system. It also puts forward that the development of tourism is a systematic project and discusses the application of the systems engineering to the tourism system.
