Research on drain of sales persons from state-owned foreign trade companies

Abstract

Serious drain of sales persons from state-owned foreign trade companies not only leads to increase of corporate costs and lost of many business opportunities for these companies, but also aggravates vicious competitions among foreign trade companies. The main reasons why sales persons leave state-owned foreign trade companies include individual causes of sales persons and causes of companies. Individual causes mainly refer to sales persons' wrong values and lack of cooperate spirit. Causes of companies refer to backward management system and rigid distribution system and so on. State-owned foreign trade companies ought to deepen their foreign trade system reform, strengthen their training of sales staff, and adopt various scientific incentive measures and so on to decease drain of sales persons.
