The Model and Simulation of Transfer Alignment of Carrier Based Aircraft INS with Large Azimuth Misalign Angle

Abstract

In order to solve the initial alignment problem of carrier based aircraft with a large azimuth misalignment condition, the error model of transfer alignment is built. This model transfers large azimuth misalignment angle problem between carrier coordinates and aircraft real coordinates into small azimuth misalignment angle problem between aircraft ideal coordinates and aircraft real coordinates, the linear error model is conducted and simulated via velocity matching method. The simulation result proves the validity and feasibility of the model.
