The development of qualitative software has been considered as an important aspect of software engineering. With the increased demand of Mobile applications users, the quality of the mobile applications becomes a major concern. The number of studies shows issues while the usability of mobile applications and proposed various methods for its evaluation. But none of the models proposed gives a holistic way for assessing the usability of mobile applications. For this, one needs to first identify the factors on which usability depends and then evaluate it. The paper, discuss the key concept of usability of mobile applications and proposes 11 usability critical factors for the measurement of usability. These factors are evaluated and prioritized based on ELECTRE-TRI outranking method, a Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis approach.
