
This papers addresses the comparative study between standard OLSR routing performance and bioinspired OLSR routing protocols. The proposed bio-inspired OLSR protocols based on differential evolution and nondominated sorting genetic algorithm implemented using the well known simulator NS-2. The bio-inspired algorithms have been used to guide the parameters setting of the OLSR protocol in order to improve the protocol performances. Simulation comparative results using PLR, NRL and E2ED metrics show the superiority of the proposed bio-inspired OLSR protocols compared to the standard OLSR protocol in all used test scenarios.
