Abstract

A description is given of the Active Memory Technology DAP 500 series, the first commercial offering of a range of upward-compatible parallel processors. The DAP 500 is a 32*32 array of bit-organized processors based on two previous generations of DAP systems. The DAP 500 is an attached processor available on a wide range of host computers such as the Sun or VAX. >
