An image coding method of shape adaptive orthonormal finite ridgelet transform

Abstract

We propose a shape-adaptive wavelet-based finite ridgelet coding method, which can efficiently code an arbitrarily shaped video object. Mechanism of SA-FRIT on the shape adaptive ridgelet transform are discussed, based on the mask images on video object shape adaptive ridgelet three level decomposition. The existing SPIHT was improved, compression method proposed an extension of SPIHT. The method uses ridgelet subband autocorrelation characteristics of arbitrarily shaped video object code, and according to the three degree mask image corresponding to the zero value of the video object coding to reduce the stream. The experimental results show that this method can obtain the characteristics of good signal processing gain, and can keep the good property of SA-FRIT. This method can greatly reduce the subband in the parent node in a number of external to the object, the method on the arbitrary shaped video objects of interactive function and improve the coding efficiency.
