The content of total flavonoids in peanut hulls was determined by the extraction technology of cellulose and ethanol using efficiently peanut hulls as raw materials in this paper. The extract was purified by AB-8 macroporous resin. The structure of the product had been characterized with UV- spectrum and IR- spectrum. The results showed that: the enzyme amount was 0.8%, the temperature was 40?, the pH value was 5.0, the ethanol concentration was 70%, under these conditions, the total flavonoids content from peanut hulls was 4.86%. Using this extraction method, it proved that the purified product was luteolin by structural anlysis.
