Intelligent monitoring and full-digital automatic control of DC machine drive control system for mine hoist

Abstract

The mine hoist is the key piece of equipment of the mine production process. A control system with good performance of the hoist is an important factor of assuring mine production capability and security. In this paper, according to the operation technology of a mine hoist, a practical full-digital automation control system and intelligent monitoring scheme for a mine hoist powered by a DC motor drive is developed. The full automatic safety operation and protection system for the mine hoist is implemented. It is shown, from site operation results, that the scheme suggested in this paper has good operation characteristics and meets the requirement of the operation technology of mine hoists.
