The authors present experimental results on the electrical characteristics of a mesh surface and an equivalent model to predict more details. An example of a mesh surface application to a large deployable antenna is shown in the case of the VSOP antenna in Japan. The transmission loss was measured at an incident angle from 0 to 75 degrees at intervals of 15 degrees in both polarizations. Analysis was carried out using a strip aperture model. The calculated transmission loss using the derived model is shown. The anisotropy and the dependence on the incident angle and polarization are simulated well. >
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 2 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
