Electronic Sports Gloves

Abstract

Today all over the world different kinds of sports are played and most of them involve different kinds of physical activities involved. Even though there are thousands of players, there are very few who have achieved the mastery in their field. Prime reasons for this situation are lack of guidance and shortage of advance equipments. Hence, this paper introduces Electronic Sports Gloves to assist players in training which can be used in indoor as well as outdoor sports. These gloves are pre-calibrated using Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for efficient hand movements. Yaw, pitch and roll angles of wrist actions are calculated by gyro and accelerometer, present on IMU. Gloves will recognize and compare these values with reference values so that a protege can be guided to make those movements precisely and achieve optimum results.
