IN a paper to the Institute of Marine Engineers recently, J. F. Preston, C.Eng., M.I.Mech.E., M.I.Mar.E., Head of Engineering—Ship Design, Shell International Marine Ltd., gave his experiences of past and presently operating steam turbines with a view to providing valuable guide lines for future designs.
