Although this talk is to be devoted to the Electrical Engineering section 621.3 of the Universal Decimal Classification as a whole, in view of your primary interest in the field of electronics, I shall try to place, where possible, more emphasis on this aspect of the subject. I am assuming that the general structure and method of using the UDC will be familiar to the majority of you, so I shall not elaborate upon this.
