Make no mistake about it, e‐business has created great end‐of‐the‐century anxiety in many executive suites. Few would argue with the proposition that e‐business represents vast potential for creating economic value, but it also entails great risk, especially since e‐business remains an unchartered frontier with no tested models for guiding decision making.
