Landing Gear Production

Abstract

HAVING supplied components for early versions of the Airbus 300 as well as the A300–600 and A310, Dowty Rotol was in a strong position to offer its expertise on the A320. The company has design leadership on the main landing gear for this latest Airbus product and manufactures the units in a consortium with its partners, Messier‐Hispano‐Bugatti. Dowty Rotol also supplies this aircraft's landing gear control and interface unit (LGCIU) as well as a variety of other components.
