Le titre furane-oditerpénoïde, connu sous le nom de fibarurétine B (nom systématique : 2β ,3α-dihy-droxy-2,3,7,8α-tétra-hydro-pénianthic acid lactone), C(20)H(24)O(7), a été isolé à partir des racines d'Arcangelisia flava. Les configurations absolues aux positions 2, 3, 4, 4a, 7, 9, 10a et 10b de la fibarurétine B sont S, R, S, R, S, S, S, S et S, respectivement. Dans la structure cristalline, les mol-écules sont liées en chaînes infinies le long de l'axe c par des liaisons hydrogène O-H 0 et des interactions C-H 0 faibles.
El título furan-oditerpenoide, conocido como fibaruretina B (nombre sistemático: lactona de ácido 2β ,3α-dihidroxi-2,3,7,8α-tetra-hidro-peniántico), C(20)H(24)O(7), se aisló de las raíces de Arcangelisia flava. Las configuraciones absolutas en las posiciones 2, 3, 4, 4a, 7, 9, 10A y 10B de la fibaruretina B son S, R, S, R, S, S, S y S, respectivamente. En la estructura cristalina, las mol-éculas están unidas en cadenas infinitas a lo largo del eje c por enlaces de hidrógeno O-H O e interacciones C-H O débiles.

The title furan-oditerpenoid, known as fibaruretin B (systematic name: 2β,3α-dihy-droxy-2,3,7,8α-tetra-hydro-penianthic acid lactone), C(20)H(24)O(7), was isolated from the roots of Arcangelisia flava. The absolute configurations at positions 2, 3, 4, 4a, 7, 9, 10a and 10b of fibaruretin B are S, R, S, R, S, S, S and S, respectively. In the crystal structure, the mol-ecules are linked into infinite chains along the c axis by O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.
